This event is ideal for those who have started to learn / can speak Spanish / English from A2 level upwards. If you aren't sure what level you are check out this. If you are a beginner then you are likely to struggle.

Activities are designed to be inclusive to all levels above A1 - this means that you should be able to introduce yourself, describe what you see, say what you like or dislike etc.

Also note that this event is designed for either English or Spanish fluent speakers.

This isn't free but 'pay what you can'. This means that you consider the value of the event, that the host is a volunteer, the time and costs associated with the materials and activities and the costs that Meetup charges organisers. We ask for a contribution to ensure that the group can continue to succeed, rather than it being totally free and hope you understand. We suggest £5-10, payment can be made by cash or card following the event.

The structure of the event is carefully designed as to allow attendees to get to know each other first through icebreakers and other social activities planned. It then helps during the subsequent activities that everyone knows everyone else and is comfortable with the setup.
The later you arrive the less you will gain so we always ask everyone to turn up on time.

There is a limit to the number of people at all indoor events. Our events are also very popular and can fill up in advance. We encourage you to sign up in advance but if you find that the event is already full then you can add yourself to the waitlist or sign up to the next event. If you are on the waitlist then you will have the opportunity to attend when a space becomes available.
